The Tupelo Lee Humane Society is dedicated to the safety of the pets in our community. Spaying and neutering not only keeps our pets safe and healthy, it really does save thousands of lives.
We are proud to announce that our Spay/Neuter week was a great success. Over the course of the week we spayed/neutered 56 dogs and 73 cats! That’s a total of 129 community pets! Since a dog will have an average of 6 puppies and a cat will have an average of 4 kittens, we potentially saved the lives of 392 dogs and 365 cats! That’s amazing!
We would like to recognize Dr. Isis Johnson, Dr. John Morris, and Dr. Reena Greer for their time and expertise. WTVA and Lamar advertising offered us PSA space and helped us spread the word as well. We would also like to thank all the pet parents who did the responsible thing by having their pets spayed or neutered!
If you missed Spay/Neuter week, don’t worry. We will continue to offer low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter services. If you would like to make an appointment, come by the shelter Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00PM (2400 S Gloster St, Tupelo). To learn more about our clinic, click here to visit our website.
