On November 17, 6:00 p.m. at Romies in Tupelo, we will be kicking off our “I Kissed A Goat and I Liked It” fundraiser. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to donate to TLHS and see your favorite meteorologists kiss a goat!! We’ll have a silent auction and live music provided by Cody Weaver. Plus, our new long-sleeved T-shirts will be on sale. All money raised during the kick off must be designated to our I Kissed a Goat Fundraiser before December 1 to count toward the total!
Whoever kisses the goat will depend on how much money we raise in total.
- 2,500 total raised: Alan Matthews will kiss a goat.
- 5,000 total raised: John Dolusic will kiss a goat.
- 7,500 total raised: Joel Young will kiss a goat.
- 10,500 total raised: Matt Laubhan will kiss a goat.
Help us raise enough money so Matt Laubhan, Chief Meteorologist will kiss the goat! All money raised will go toward our general operations account. These funds will help us do things like buy dog and cat food and pay for supplies.
Right now, we are in need of donations from local businesses for items to feature in the silent auction.
If you own a business and would like to donate to the silent auction, please contact TLHS. Also, you don’t have to wait for November 17 to start adding to the total. You can donate via our website, Paypal on Facebook, check via P.O. Box, or call in donations to (662) 841-6500.
If you’re looking to help give our contest one last boost, share about it on social media on November 28 for #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday takes place on the Tuesday directly after Thanksgiving. It was created to remind people the holidays mean more than consumerism and commercialization. This year our #GivingTuesday campaign will focus on our “I Kissed A Goat and I Liked It” fundraiser. If you want to help a worthy cause this holiday season, please consider donating to TLHS.
